The Predeal resort is located in the center of Romania on the Prahova Valley, between the Prahova and Timiş rivers, at the foot of the Bucegi mountains (northeast) and those of the Baiului mountains (northwest). The town of Predeal is located at the highest urban altitude in Romania (1030 - 1110m).
The mountains that border the Predeal resort are Piatra Mare Mts (1843m) to the North, Bucegi Mts (2508m - Omu Peak) to the South-West and Postăvarul Mts (1799m) to the North-West.
The component localities that make up the town of Predeal are: Predeal, Pârâul Rece, Timişul de Jos and Timişul de Sus.

The mountain climate with cool summers and cold winters makes the Predeal resort of real tourist interest in all seasons. The resort's attractions are the eight alpine ski slopes with varying degrees of difficulty, the cross-country ski slope on Valea Râşnoavei, numerous marked mountain trails, dedicated trails for ATVs, the chair lift and ski lifts on Clăbucet, as well as the great diversity of places specialized in Romanian and international culinary art. Except for the cold season, the mountains around the resort offer multiple options for unforgettable hikes.

AGREMENT
The resort benefits from two ice rinks, one of them located within the tourist complex "Fulg de Nea", at the base of the Clăbucet part, and the second one near the agro-food market.

The Clăbucet ski slope in Predeal benefits from lighting installations and snow cannons that facilitate the extension of the ski season.
